Happiness for others project.
In a remote area of Kham Nangchen in eastern Tibet where I was born there is a small Monastery. For years my heart felt wish has been to help the monks, nuns and local villagers by supporting their Dharma activities and improving their living standards.

Villagekids
It is a beautiful quiet place set amongst the mountains & valleys. People are devoted to Buddha’s teaching and the nomad life style where they have Yaks and sheep etc.
For many years the people of this land have worked hard to build and maintain a monastery so that those who felt that their life purpose was to practice the dharma could do so. This is an on going process.
As we all know the life of Tibetans in the last few decades has been harsh. Their environment is extreme. My wish is to work with these villagers to provide some support to enhance their infrastructure, health system & traditional education in a sustainable, culturally appropriate & Dharmic way. I was requested by the abbot of this monastery to assist as he has young monks and elderly Nuns to support. I know of the struggles they have in keeping warm and healthy in winter especially since their housing is inadequate. The villagers also struggle with maintaining a traditional livelihood that is kind to the earth and their animals. Unequipped after centuries of self sufficiency many villagers leave to find exploitative work in cities, factories and as labourers.
THE FIRST GOAL
1 Shelter for young monk and elderly nun appox $ 20000 Aus Dollar
If anyone would like to donate towards this project or like to be part of this Project it would be much appreciated.
Kind Regards
